- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Current ART certification, or BLS/CPR and ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six months of hire date.
- PALS certification, or must be able to obtain within six months of hire date.
- Must have at least one year of ED Inpatient RN experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work within a busy team environment.
- BSN.
- Previous experience in an Emergency/Trauma setting.
- Two years or more experience as an ED inpatient RN.
- Must be willing to work in both Emergency Departments (Hillcrest and La Jolla) as needed.
- Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
- Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
- Selected candidate may be hired at the CNIII level pending review and approval by the Nurse Executive Council.
