The Investment and Marketing Company Saxony-Anhalt (IMG) is the economic development company of Saxony-Anhalt.

On behalf of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of the state of Saxony-Anhalt, we market the economic and scientific location of Saxony-Anhalt and are also responsible for tourism marketing in Germany and abroad.


To strengthen our marketing team, we are looking for a

Project Manager in Location Marketing (m/f/d)
Part-time (fixed-term)

(e.g. a marketing manager, business economist, industrial engineer or similar)

The goal of location marketing is to increase the awareness of the economic location of Saxony-Anhalt and to attract investments.

The portfolio in location marketing is primarily developed to position the Saxony-Anhalt brand, specifically the economic and living location, more strongly in international competition.

This is achieved through image-building campaigns and initiatives, as well as the marketing of selected areas of expertise (industries) in the country and the recognition of outstanding achievements in the economy of Saxony-Anhalt through awards (e.g.

the newly established economic award). The latter activity is the focus of the position to be filled.

As a project manager in location marketing, you will carry out measures such as contract awarding, agency management, and committee work, and independently implement the developed marketing
