Description

We are currently looking for a Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Cologne, starting as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology.

Through a qualification program, you will progress to the position of Signal Mechanic.

Your responsibilities will include:

Performing all assembly and repair work on signaling and safety technology (LST) as well as electrical interior and exterior systems
Focusing on electronic components such as signals, switches, and control systems, while also gaining knowledge of mechanical components
Conducting maintenance and installation of cable systems, including all measurement, switching, and testing work
Independently and reliably carrying out regional tasks as part of a team
Adhering to safety plans, safety briefings, and accident prevention regulations within the team

Your profile:

Completed training in electrical engineering, for example as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist, or in a comparable profession
Willingness to work outdoors and availability for night, weekend, and holiday shifts
High level of resilience, initiative, and flexibility
Motivation and willingness to learn for the internal qualification program
Reliable, teamoriented, and responsible
Valid driver's license (class B)
