Fountain Inn is seeking your expertise for the main cemetery in Altona.

As a caretaker of our beautiful park cemetery, you will play a crucial role in providing comfort to the grieving by maintaining well-kept graves.

Your responsibilities will include measuring graves, preparing and conducting earth and urn burials, and tending to the graves after the burial.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and beautifying the cemetery through proper care and planting, as well as performing winter maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have a completed apprenticeship as a gardener or in landscaping, or possess equivalent skills. A valid driver's license (Class B or higher) is required. Previous experience with cemetery equipment is a plus. We are looking for someone with a sensitive and empathetic approach towards the bereaved.
