'B. Braun New Ventures' is a corporate start-up of B. Braun, located in Freiburg, Germany and established in 2020. With a young and rapidly expanding team, our goal is to support B. Braun's digital transformation by developing solutions to automate medical procedures across all business areas. Our aim is to enhance the abilities of caregivers through the use of sensors, robotics, and artificial intelligence, resulting in improved patient care.

Responsibilities:

Lead all system testing activities for a new robotic surgery platform
Develop test processes in accordance with established standards for electromechanical medical products
Implement and oversee test processes in daily operations
Mentor and develop a team of test engineers
Create a comprehensive test plan for the system, ensuring full coverage and efficient execution throughout the development cycle
Collaborate closely with development engineers to establish testdriven development, test automation, and testing traceability
Work closely with Product Owners and UX Engineers to understand user needs and transfer them into suitable test cases
Supervise all internal and external tests, including system accuracy, robustness, optical and electrical performance, safety, and usability
Communicate with test teams from other B. Braun units and external test laboratories

Professional Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional testing of complex medical products, including product launches in a regulated environment
Experience with surgical navigation, visualization, or robotics
