Description

The city of Lorsch is looking for a full-time or part-time permanent Object Caretaker (m/f/d) for the Department of Construction and Environment starting from August 1st, 2024.

Your responsibilities for the city's properties include (subject to change):

Regular inspection of municipal properties
Monitoring and supervision of technical systems
Monitoring and operation of all technical building facilities
Conducting minor repairs and maintenance work
Monitoring of trade work for contracted projects
Maintenance of paths and squares for various properties
Support for events, including weekends and evenings
Garbage and lock service for various properties
Supervision of cleaning services
Documentation creation
Handover and acceptance of various properties for rental purposes

We expect:

Completed training in a trade profession, preferably in the field of heating and plumbing, electrical or building technology
Several years of professional experience
Comprehensive manual and technical skills
High level of resilience, commitment, flexibility, independence, responsibility and reliability
Friendliness in dealing with people
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in MS Office
Class B driver's license
