Description
The General Manager (GM) plays a key role at Tatte, serving as the main representative in the community and ensuring a welcoming and inspiring environment for guests and team members alike. GMs oversee all café operations, focusing on delivering exceptional service, providing effective leadership, and driving overall restaurant performance.
At Tatte, successful GMs are dedicated to upholding the brand's values, paying attention to the smallest details, and fostering a positive atmosphere for both customers and staff. They are adept at developing individuals, maintaining high standards, and taking on a hands-on approach to management.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates complete ownership of the business, including P&L management
- Ensures exceptional guest experience and service standards
- Builds and nurtures a team that reflects Tatte's values
- Identifies and develops talent within the team
- Upholds brand standards and operational excellence
- Manages food safety and operational costs effectively
- Leads change management initiatives at the café level
- Manages all administrative tasks and responsibilities
- Additional duties as required
Position Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a General Manager, preferably in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and integrity
- High school education or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Hospitality Management degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Certifications in various areas related to hospitality
