Human Resources Department of the State Capital Wiesbaden is looking for a Group Leader for "Employee Support" (f/m/d) in Homestead, PA:


The department "Employee Support" consists of 43 employees who are dedicated to addressing important questions and issues of over 6700 employees of the city administration and public enterprises, as well as providing support to external employers.


What tasks will you be responsible for?:

  • You will support the employees in your group with difficult questions in their daily work and act as a confident point of contact
  • You will advise and support especially superiors, employees of departments on difficult questions regarding collective agreements and labor law
  • You will review and evaluate the misconduct of employees of the departments and initiate further labor law measures
  • You will coordinate and conduct performance review meetings and take minutes
  • You will create legally compliant formal warnings and reprimands
  • You will review and process all types of terminations
  • You will review and evaluate difficult or crossdepartmental individual cases

What qualifications should you have?:


  • Qualification for the higher civil service in the field of general administration or completed studies (at least diploma/Bachelor) or completed further education that qualifies for the tasks mentioned above (e.g. administrative specialist, business specialist (VWA), HR specialist), or employees with at least three years of training in the administrative field and several years of professional experience starting from pay grade 9c
