A Brief Overview

Participates in a planned research projects by carrying out research experiments in accordance with established protocol(s) and under direct supervision.


What you will do

  • Prepares Lab reagents
  • Performs research & procedures on experimental samples
  • Performs routine calculations
  • Summarizes & analyzes data according to established protocols
  • Assist with settingup protocols
  • Maintains lab log/notebook(s)
  • Uses & maintains general laboratory equipment

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • One (1) prior internship or paid experience in a research laboratory environment Required

Skills and Abilities

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work in an organized fashion, work well with others
  • Good attention to detail.
