Group Fitness Coordinator

DIRECTLY REPORTS TO:
General Manager

DEPARTMENT: Management Team/Group Fitness

JOB SUMMARY: The Group Fitness Coordinator is a valued member of the 49ers Fit team and plays a pivotal role in the company's success. The coordinator will lead engaging and effective group fitness classes based on the provided descriptions, while representing the club positively by welcoming clients.

WORK SCHEDULE: This is a part-time position where the daily schedule will vary based on club needs, staff requirements, and member preferences.

KEY PERFORMANCE EVALUATION FACTORS:

Ability to embody the company's core values
Achievement of department and individual sales targets
Meeting prospect and member follow-up objectives
Completion of essential job duties
Active involvement in the Group Fitness and Management Team
Punctuality for classes and maintaining a professional appearance
Keeping certifications up to date and ensuring instructors align with brand standards
Studio maintenance and record-keeping responsibilities
Providing assistance to instructors when needed to avoid class cancellations
Upholding positive communication practices
Consistent adherence to brand standards

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:

Passion for health and wellness with the ability to motivate individuals to overcome exercise barriers
Previous experience teaching group fitness in a studio/club setting
Networking skills and commitment to exceptional customer service
Proficiency in computer applications like Word & Excel
Team player attitude with problem-solving skills
Sales experience focusing on revenue goals is advantageous
