You can also lead the charge in protecting the rights of individuals with disabilities and older adults and identifying and fighting for improvements to government services and policies.
Additionally, you will help ensure that the needs of vulnerable members of society are not overlooked, particularly those whose voices may be less heard in mainstream media or policy development.
Caseloads will be complex, sensitive, and varied in nature.The Fiduciary is assigned primary responsibility for Wards, Protected Persons, and Estates, managing vulnerable and deceased persons' well-being and assets.

We Require- Fiduciary license in good standing with the Arizona Supreme Court
OR- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in criminal justice, social services, behavioral science, gerontology, public or business administration, finance, accounting, or a closely related field- Two years of experience in the areas of guardianship, conservatorship, personal representative, trust administration, behavioral/mental health, elder or disability law of a non-familial relationship
OR- A high school diploma and 3 years of guardianship, conservatorship, personal representative, trust administration, behavioral/mental health, elder or disability law of a non-familial relationship
We Value- Professional work experience in administering guardianships, conservatorships, decedent's estates, entitlements, and bank trust work or experience as a paralegal- Experience working with government entitlement programs- Experience managing caseload pertaining to mental health, social services, or personal or financial needs of clients- National Certified Guardian with the Center for Guardianship Certification
Job Contributions- Coordinate, monitor, and oversee the implementation of Ward's cases, treatments, residential arrangements, and continuing care plans to verify that Ward's demonstrable needs are met- Drive to community sites, facilities, and institutions to meet with Wards and their healthcare providers and review their treatment plans with them- Complete mandatory reports and maintain active compliance with the law, rules, codes, orders, and department policies to fulfill statutory Fiduciary responsibilities- Administer estates of protected and deceased persons, emphasizing preserving the estate and physical maintenance of personal, real, and business property- Perform investigations and gather information to ensure informed decision-making with preference given to the Ward's expressed wishes while serving as a guardian in the least restrictive manner- Testify in court regarding Ward's advocacy, determinations, litigation, recovery actions, and performance accountability to defend Ward's best interests- Manage or dispose of client property with preference given to the client's expressed wishes or directives- Determine the end-of-life and final arrangements for Wards, with advanced input from the client and their family, aiming to fulfill their final wishes as requested- Communicate orally and in writing with Wards, benefit/service providers, financial institutions, residential facilities, medical and legal professionals, and other interested parties, including communications in adversarial and occasionally hostile situations
Working Conditions- Pre-licensed Fiduciaries work under the supervision of a licensed Fiduciary, or designated principal, to gain knowledge and expertise during the pre-licensing period.
This supervision allows pre-licensed Fiduciaries to increase responsibilities over time and fosters the necessary professional development needed to meet licensure eligibility requirements.
- Interact with the public and persons of varying degrees of mental stability and occasionally in hostile situations- Enter residencies where biohazard material or pest or rodent infestations may exist- Ability to work on-call nights and weekends on a rotating schedule- Applicant must meet the eligibility requirements according to the- Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA- and A.R.S ; obtain an Arizona Fiduciary License within 24 months of hire and must maintain that
