Your checklist:

Education: At least a high school diploma
Subjects such as math, German, English, and computer science are easy for you
Tech-savvy: You have experience tinkering with computers and knowledge of PC applications.

Your tasks include:

Being the point of contact for our employees when IT equipment is needed, taking care of ordering, management, and provision
Contributing to the improvement of IT processes
Managing IT user accounts and ensuring compliance with policies.

Your journey:

Your journey will last 3 years, with the possibility of shortening it.
You will learn methods and concepts at the Erich Gutenberg Vocational College in Cologne Buchheim that you can apply at the airport.
Your training will cover areas such as IT applications, IT infrastructure, purchasing, and human resources.

Final destination and now what? At the end of your training, you can choose which areas you would like to continue working in.

Previous apprentices with this job profile now work as system managers or application managers.
