Our Profile:


The Institute for Machine Elements and System Development researches the fundamental structural and tribological behavior of machine elements and models it in experimentally validated descriptions.

These model descriptions are used to analyze and design the functional, loss, and noise behavior of complex technical systems with a focus on drive technology.

The developed models also serve to research and develop methods of model-based systems engineering as a central element of future industrial product development processes.


For our training concept of model-based product development, we are looking for support from student assistants with a bachelor's degree to further develop system models that are used as learning materials in teaching and workshops.


The tasks of this job advertisement range from the further development of system models, to the didactic preparation of teaching content, to the support of interactive exercises and advanced workshops.

In addition, insights into diverse research projects of the MSE can be gained.


Your Profile:


  • Passed exam "Model-Based Product Development"
  • Alternatively, previous experience with Cameo Systems Modeler desirable
  • Independent and responsible way of working
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree and enrollment in a consecutive degree program at a university or technical college
