Job Description Summary
Graphic designers produce art and layouts for print and electronic media. Reformats and sizes ad versions, prepares materials for printer, specs type, etc.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

  • Design logos, ad layouts, brochures, menus, web graphics, and client service aids
  • Develop graphics for print collateral, digital video signage, TV, outdoor, direct mail, and social media
  • Inhouse printing, trimming, and mounting of print collateral and signage as needed
  • Basic photography as needed
  • Create from design templates or original artwork
  • Ensure brand consistency and high level of quality across all work
  • Interact with Marketing leadership to ensure final graphic product meets expectations.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of graphics software options and capabilities.
  • Provides excellent guest service.

Qualifications:


Required Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of an associate's degree (AA) in related field or equivalent from a technical school.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with layout and design of marketing collateral.
  • Experience is Casino Marketing preferred.
  • Welldeveloped portfolio with examples of graphic design for various media
  • Proficient with macOS hardware
  • Strong working knowledge of

Adobe Creative Cloud:
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

  • Working knowledge in

Microsoft Office:
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong typography skills
  • Clear understanding of CMYK and printing procedures
  • Basic knowledge in video editing and motion design in Adobe After Effects
  • Knowledge in 3D animation is a plus
  • Knowledge in HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Digital photography skills is a plus
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to perform in a fastpaced deadline driven environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities with a high attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, in English, on the telephone and in person

Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Typically, the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.
