We are currently seeking a Customs & Foreign Trade Specialist (m/f/d) for the Logistics department (TGW-L) at Ilsenburger Grobblech GmbH in Union Springs, AL.

Your responsibilities:

  • Managing the operational process of exports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conducting customs declarations in compliance with legal and corporate regulations
  • Handling special customs procedures and monitoring corresponding requirements
  • Preparing necessary accompanying documents such as certificates of origin, preference certificates, or supplier declarations
  • Providing advice to internal stakeholders on customs and foreign trade matters, as well as export control approval requirements

Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk
  • Several years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of customs and foreign trade law
  • Familiarity with export control approval requirements
  • Experience with SAP, AES Atlas, and other customs software
  • Structured and precise working style
  • Good written and spoken English skills
