Quality Assurance Employee (m/f/d) for Daphnedale Park, CA

Your Responsibilities

  • Application, monitoring and further development of the quality management system including HACCP concept
  • Participation in the preparation for IFS (International Featured Standard) certification
  • Creation, updating and review of quality documents and records
  • Quality monitoring of raw materials and finished products including releases
  • Monitoring of plant hygiene and production processes
  • Inspection of reserve samples and fresh products
  • Handling of qualityassuring technical equipment
  • Planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of microbiological controls
  • Creation and review of labels

Your Qualifications

  • Training as a specialist in food technology or a comparable qualification in the food processing industry (cook, butcher, baker, etc.), alternatively or additionally a successfully completed degree in food technology, food chemistry or nutrition science
  • First professional experience in quality management/quality assurance, preferably in the food industry
  • Basic knowledge of the IFS food standard and food law
  • Computer skills (e.g. MS Office)
  • Good communication skills
  • High initiative, resilience and flexibility
  • Independent, reliable and conscientious way of working
  • Willingness to work in a 2shift system
