Employee (f/m/d) in Science in the field of Human-in-the-Loop Design for Data Platforms at the Institute for Information Systems and Marketing (IISM) in Simonton, TX.


Your tasks:

The advertised position is located in our research area "Human-in-the-Loop Design" and focuses on the investigation and design of Human-in-the-Loop approaches in the context of data platforms.

Data platforms play an important role in both companies and the public sector today.

The provision of data platforms is associated with various challenges, including the availability of high-quality (training) data and enabling easy access to the platform for all market participants.

As part of the PhD, new methods and tools should be designed and evaluated that allow for active involvement of people in the development and usage processes of data platforms.

The advertised position is embedded in a joint cooperation project with TECO (Prof. Dr. Michael Beigl) in the context of the AI Alliance Baden-Württemberg.


Tasks:


  • Development and scientifically sound evaluation of innovative solutions for the design of HumanintheLoop approaches for data platforms based on real application scenarios and data in close cooperation with practice
  • Participation in the joint cooperation project of the AI Alliance Baden-Württemberg as part of the promotion of regional AI centers of excellence by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg
