Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting specifically in the construction industry
  • Participation in project and cost controlling
  • Participation in monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements for individuals and corporations according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
  • Conducting budgettoactual comparisons, variance analyses, and adhoc evaluations
  • Processing and distribution of incoming invoices
  • Preparation and execution of payments
  • Bank clearing, resolution of payment discrepancies
  • Accounts receivable management and collection
  • Maintenance of master data
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Collaboration with auditors and tax advisors
  • Preparation of information for management
  • Participation in internal accounting/cost accounting

Qualifications:

  • Degree as a certified accountant, tax clerk (m/f/d), or completed business studies with a focus on accounting
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in accounting, including financial statement preparation (HGB)
