Training duration: 3 yearsThe diverse gastronomy at UKM consists of patient catering, cafeteria, bistro kiosk, vending machines, diet kitchen, main kitchen, bakery, commissioning zone, and the UKM Catering Herd and Seele with the restaurant Zum Dekan.

The above-mentioned areas produce, organize, and coordinate the catering for patients, guests, and employees.


Your responsibilities:

  • Learning various skills
  • Organizing processes in a large kitchen
  • Proper handling of food and operation of kitchen equipment and machinery
  • Planning, calculating, and purchasing food for meal preparation
  • Proper storage of food
  • Independently managing work tasks
  • Designing menus and setting up buffets
  • Providing excellent service to our guests, including advising, promoting, and selling our products.
