    • Location: Lake Zurich, IL (*Onsite position)

    Position Summary: The Quality Specialist role involves direct quality activities within the department to ensure the delivery of goods and services that meet customer requirements in terms of quality, quantity, and timeliness.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for following the Medical Murray Quality system
    • Personnel oversight
      • Assist in interviewing and hiring quality personnel
      • Support onboarding process
      • Assign personnel roles
      • Participate in training and development
      • Ensure compliance with procedures
      • Provide feedback and coaching
      • Contribute to performance reviews
    • Quality Inspection oversight
      • Ensure quality and delivery objectives are met
      • Coordinate inspections
      • Support investigation and resolution of reports
      • Maintain productivity targets
      • Review inspection records
      • Perform line clearance activities
    • Continuous improvements
      • Support improvement projects
      • Generate and analyze operational efficiency data
    • Strict adherence to safety requirements
    • Perform other duties as required

    Education and Experience:

    • Vocational - High School diploma or equivalent experience
    • Technical training or relevant experience

    Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication skills
    • Time management abilities
    • Experience in floor layout and Lean methods
    • People skills and the ability to work collaboratively
    • Conflict resolution skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Qualifications:

    • Proven leadership abilities
    • Experience in leading diverse groups
    • Understanding of operational effectiveness
    • Knowledge of metrics and operational practices
