- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Be familiar with and able to execute Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
- Promptly report safety concerns and incidents to the supervisor.
- Quality Inspection:
- Inspect products to identify defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Prepare and provide samples for production evaluations.
- Execute quality audits for each shift and machine.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Perform various audit actions, including approvals for changeovers and setups.
- Contribute to SQF Procedures by helping with development, document reviews, and updates.
- Participate in addressing customer complaints and internal audit findings related to SQF.
- Data Management:
- Record data accurately in Excel or SPC software.
- Conduct quality tests using lab measurement tools.
- Oversee gauge calibration.
- General Duties:
- Operate independently for daily tasks and make quality-related decisions.
- Uphold the Plants Food Safety commitments by completing necessary training and adhering to required practices.
- Serve as a substitute for the Quality Lead when required.
- Proficiency in SQF, HACCP, and Food Safety programs is required.
- HAACP and SQR certifications are required for this role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Experience with Excel and SPC software.
- Ability to conduct quality tests and oversee gauge calibration.
- Experience in manufacturing and quality assurance preferred.
