We are currently seeking a Hygiene Specialist (m/f/d) for our hygiene department at the Rehau District Hospital in Ben Bolt, TX.

Your responsibilities:

Advising and training all employees (m/f/d) on all matters related to hospital hygiene
Participation in all tasks related to hospital hygiene in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines
Monitoring and further development of hygiene standards
Conducting hygiene inspections and trainings for all staff
Creating and reviewing hygiene and disinfection plans
Organizing and participating in hygiene working groups and projects
Providing education and management during outbreaks and pandemics
Recording and evaluating nosocomial infections
Conducting microbiological environmental investigations
Evaluating and implementing measures based on microbiological environmental investigation results
Accompanying, conducting, and evaluating water tests in accordance with drinking water regulations

Your profile:

Completed training as a health and nursing professional (m/f/d) or pediatric health professional (m/f/d) with at least three years of professional experience
Completed specialized training as a hygiene specialist (m/f/d) or willingness to participate in a one to twoyear training program
Strong social skills
Willingness to work openly and constructively in a multidisciplinary team and in a psychiatric hospital
Ability to work independently and take responsibility, as well as being proactive and engaged
Knowledge of clinical IT systems, Word, and Excel
