Job Responsibilities:

Perform general ward therapy procedures as a Respiratory Therapist II, including 02 therapy, aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene, and CPR.
Handle Adult Critical Care RT tasks such as managing ventilator systems and specialty gases.
Receive training in Arterial Puncture for Blood Gas Analysis and potentially pursue additional training in various subspecialty services.

Additional primary duties and responsibilities specific to the Pulmonary Function lab:

Schedule patient testing and verify MD orders.
Conduct pulmonary function tests, exercise tests, and arterial punctures.
Submit results for interpretation and handle patient billings.
Qualified as a Certified / Registered Pulmonary Function Tech with at least 1 year of experience in pulmonary function testing.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as well as ACLS and PALS certifications.
