Description

The German Railway is not only one of the most important mobility service providers, but also one of the largest engineering offices in Germany.

Currently, more than engineers work for us to realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks, and signal systems - but that's not nearly enough.

As an engineer at the German Railway, you can plan, manage, or monitor something that will remain:

We are currently looking for you as an engineer/specialist for construction scheduling (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our locations in Berlin or Frankfurt (Main) as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

  • In your role, you ensure optimal capacity control by coordinating construction schedules and identifying potential conflicts early on, in coordination with regional units.
  • In strategic/mediumterm capacity management and special programs such as the highperformance network, you take on operational control.
  • In addition, you enter operational and trafficrelated conditions into the optimization tool for construction schedule coordination.
  • You process statements and review orders as part of early customer involvement and ensure the adaptation/supplementation of infrastructure and corridor definitions.
  • You also ensure that traffic guidelines are developed as specifications for strategic capacity management and create presentation materials for submission and coordination in committees.

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed (university) degree in traffic engineering, geography, civil engineering, or economics.
