Footwear Sourcing Manager

Position Overview:

The Footwear Sourcing Manager provides managerial level support to a growing Sourcing Department.

The primary function of this role is to assist with the costing/ factory selections/ production placement process and seeing through the process from placement of production with the factory through time of shipment.

Role and Responsibilities:

Negotiate and analyze costing based on margin requirements
Monitor all PO placed on time requests and revisions
Manage deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the production is delivered on time
Serve as the main liaison between sales team, design, and logistic team
Work collaboratively with Merchandising and Merchandise Planning to gain alignment on information needed to create POs and on revisions to POs
Communicate with overseas Sourcing partners, third party vendors and other functions
Assist with departmental projects on an as needed basis
Responsible for the Sales Department's communication with overseas third parties
Manage high volume orders from placement of order to shipment
Communicate with the Warehouse and Logistics Department on all detailed information of carrier(s) once shipment is confirmed.
