The laboratory of Dr.

Stephen Goff in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics at Columbia University Medical Center is seeking a Staff Associate I to be responsible for a wide range of tasks for the laboratory.

The Staff Associate I will operate and maintain equipment,order reagents for all laboratory members, and organize stocks and supplies as they arrive.

They will maintain lab stocks of reagents, culture media, and Liquid N2 cell line banks. The employee will place lab orders and arrange for our laboratory meetings. As a Staff Associate, they will also be responsible for assisting and supporting all the laboratory's daily operations.

Specific responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

They will operate with considerable autonomy and must know their duties and execute them without the need for frequent oversight.

Pay Transparency Disclosure


The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.

The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.


Pay:
$58, $77,500.00 per year
