Duties:

You will serve as the SUPERVISOR (Functional Product Director) in the Program Executive Office, Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions.
You will carryout the full range of supervisory management functions.
You will lead and manage functional activities for the analysis, planning, development, deployment, integration and sustainment of requirements and assigned programs/systems.
You will provide effective functional guidance to high priority programs and projects, and for sensitive policy development issues.
You will support the functional requirements planning, execution, configuration control, and integration of new capabilities for transformation and modernization of Defense Business Systems and networks.
You will define the policies and principles to guide functional product owner decisions for largescale enterprise information technology (IT) systems.
You will formulate program goals and objectives to meet short and longterm performance, operational, and functional system capabilities and requirements.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travelrelated purchases.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE450, within 30 days of appointment.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR

Qualifications:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Managing the delivery and execution of modernized logistics systems; providing guidance to high priority programs and projects and sensitive policy development issues.- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education:

This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

Additional information:

This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.

The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the pay band, including higher responsibility positions.

Based on the responsibilities of this position (Tier 2), the total adjusted salary may be capped equivalent to GS 15 at $189,477 (Adjusted Pay).

Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.

Several vacancies may be filled.

A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
