Finance Accounting Employee (m/f/d)

The Theater Chemnitz is a five-division house with opera, drama, philharmonic, ballet, and puppet theater, with approximately 430 employees.

The administration of the Städtische Theater Chemnitz gGmbH consists of the departments of finance accounting, controlling, IT, and human resources/payroll.


What to expect:

  • Accounts payable accounting: verification, coding, and booking of invoices and payment instructions, including payment transactions and all related tasks
  • Fixed asset accounting: valuation of additions and disposals, inventory management, and preparation of operational evaluations

What we expect:

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in finance accounting or certification as a certified accountant
  • Indepth knowledge of accounting and HGB (German Commercial Code) as well as knowledge of tax law
  • Independent, structured, and conscientious work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent team player
