Our Doceins Lung Clinic Neustadt in the Harz region is one of the largest lung specialist clinics in Thuringia. It has a history of over 100 years and has been specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of lung and bronchial diseases since 1950. Our specialist hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and is recognized as a specialized center of excellence for pneumology. The hospital has 81 beds in 4 departments, including 12 planned beds in the weaning/intensive care unit and 8 beds in the monitoring unit.

As a specialized acute clinic for lung and respiratory diseases, the diagnostic and therapeutic focus of our hospital is in the fields of pneumology, ventilation/intensive care medicine, and sleep medicine.

We are a certified weaning center according to the German Society for Pneumology and a center for non-hospital ventilation.

Your responsibilities will include:

You will have professional, personnel, and organizational responsibility for your department in an interdisciplinary team
Ensuring smooth departmental processes through binding duty, vacation, and training planning
You will be the contact person for our patients and their families
Creating care plans and regularly evaluating the measures taken
Counseling patients and their families
Basic and treatment care as well as documentation of nursing measures
