    Description

Blue Seal/Kent Nutrition Group (KNG), a member of theKENTCorporation family of companies has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Robot Arm Operator in Arcade, NY The Robot Arm Operator is responsible for the operation of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine.

    This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor
    • The safe, efficient functioning of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine - making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality stacking
    • Inspect empty pallets to ensure they are of good quality
    • Performing daily Metal Detect checks and weigh checks to ensure equipment is working properly
    • Troubleshooting operational issues following all safety protocols
    • The organization and cleanliness of the east alleyway of the East Warehouse
    • Monitoring, organizing and recording of ripped bags, "off weights" and metal reject
    • Checking weights and date codes on the products being packed
    • Organizing rework and cooperating with the Shift Support Person in accessing rework
    • Compacting of cardboard as time permits
    • All other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.
    • Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout.
    • Thorough understanding of cGMP's.
    • Knowledge of HACCP Feed & Food Safety Plan.
    • Knowledge of FSMA.
    WAGE:
    • Starting at $18.00 an hour
