Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to join our team. The Payroll Assistant will be responsible for supporting the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all payroll activities.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in processing payroll for employees accurately and timely
  • Verify timekeeping records and consult employees about any discrepancies
  • Help prepare paychecks
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
  • Collaborate with the HR department to ensure proper employee data management

Requirements:

- little experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role

  • Experience with Quickbooks
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working as a payroll clerk
  • Knowledge of payroll systems such as UltiPro, ADP, or Paychex
