YOUR ROLE

  • You will be responsible for preparing our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
  • You will develop the booking system for new and existing business transactions and assist in resolving balance sheet issues.
  • You will handle accrual and deferral calculations and assist in maintaining the fixed asset registry and intercompany reconciliation.
  • You will ensure that cost centers are accurately reflected in DATEV and can be reconciled with management reporting.
  • Together with our tax advisor, you will be responsible for submitting tax reports, including sales taxes, recapitulative statements, and tax returns.
  • You will communicate with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, and tax consultants.
  • You will identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase process efficiency.
  • You will assist in preparing internal reports and adhoc analyses, as well as contribute to the professional development of the team.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • You have completed commercial training or hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, with additional education in Finance (e.g. Bilanzbuchhalter, Finanzbuchhalter, ACCA, CMA, C
