We are looking for student employees to join our team at the Unzerstraße community in Altona-Altstadt, Asherton.

Student Assistants (m/f/d)

Work Environment

The focus of your work will be on providing personal assistance to people with support needs in order to participate in community life and to build and maintain social networks. In addition, assistance includes everyday support, nursing, household tasks, and counseling. In the Altona region, we are developing new support settings for people with assistance needs. As a community, Unzerstraße has an excellent social infrastructure with pedestrian zones, shops, and cafes in close proximity. We are closely connected with other social institutions in the neighborhood and work across facilities.

Overview of Tasks

  • Basic care and nursing tasks
  • Support and advice on participation in cultural and social life
  • Assistance and support in the areas of housing and self-care
  • Support and advice in the areas of communication, orientation, and social interaction
  • Support and accompaniment in the area of health promotion and maintenance
