Responsibilities:

Conduct fire safety inspections and maintain fire safety equipment at the site
Perform maintenance and upkeep of fire department equipment and vehicles according to manufacturer's instructions or special instructions from the fire department
Respond to emergency situations including rescuing individuals, fighting fires, providing technical assistance, and handling hazardous materials and goods
Provide assistance to other departments in fire prevention efforts
Provide services and support to various departments

Requirements:

Completed training in the middle fire service (B1 qualification) or completed training as a fireman recognized by the state of NRW
Several years of experience as a fireman or professional firefighter preferred
Valid driver's license for classes B, C, CE and additional qualifications in emergency services or plant security desired
Team player, physically fit, customer service oriented, and strong social skills
