Fruchties (m/w/d) wanted
Fruchtalarm gGmbH is looking for volunteers at the children's cancer ward of Kinder UKE in Hamburg-Eppendorf.

Your tasks?
Provide a break for the sick children, teenagers and their families.

With our children's cocktail bar, you mix fruit cocktails from juice, syrup and ice cubes for and with patients on the children's cancer wards.

This creates fun and variety, promotes self-determination and activity, and motivates for important fluid intake.

When?
Thursdays from 2:00 pm.

"Fruchtalarm" takes place every week and lasts 3-4 hours. You will be on duty about 2 times a month. A duty roster will be created in the team according to availability.

What should you bring?

You should be at least 18 years old
Available at least 2 times a month on Thursday afternoons
Empathy and joy of life
Reliability and conscientiousness
Enjoyment of working with children and teenagers
A confident and natural demeanor, also regarding the topic of illness
The possibility to participate in our project longterm (2 years desirable)

What do you receive for your commitment?
A compensation for expenses and many bright eyes and smiles on the children's cancer wards.
