Your Responsibilities:


  • Advise the Company on all legal matters in a diverse international environment
  • Provide daytoday legal support as a strong Business Partner
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and other documents for domestic and international business transactions and projects
  • Collaborate with external law firms representing the Company
  • Work closely with business management to address issues and risks

Your Profile:


  • Hold a German law degree (preferably with a second state exam) with a specialization in Maritime Law. A Master's degree in Maritime Law and/or International Commercial Law is a plus
  • Have at least 5 years of professional experience in national and/or international law firms in the fields of maritime, civil, commercial, corporate, or international law
  • Experience in advising on maritime, civil, commercial, corporate, and international law, as well as knowledge of SOLAS, MARPOL, and IMO regulations and resolutions
  • Possess strong commercial acumen
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills with a flexible mindset and cando attitude
  • Be fluent in English and German
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Admission to the German bar is desirable
