For our two intensive care homes for young adults in Hannover, we are looking for qualified nursing professionals (m/f/d) to provide comfort and a second home to seriously ill and partially ventilated young adults in Garland, KS.

Your profile:

  • Enjoy working with children in need of intensive care
  • Empathy and reliability, sense of responsibility and social competence
  • Qualified nursing professional (m/f), i.e. completed training as a health and pediatric nurse, nurse, pediatric nurse, or nurse
  • Independent and careful work ethic
  • Willingness for personal and professional development
  • Experience with ventilated patients is preferred, but not mandatory

Your responsibilities:

  • In addition to the traditional nursing tasks, the following duties await you with our small intensive care patients:
  • Monitoring of ventilation and vital parameters
  • Acting in emergency situations
  • Observing patients
  • Communicating with family members, patients, doctors, and therapists
  • Performing all basic and treatmentrelated nursing tasks (e.g. administering oxygen and medication, injections, suctioning, PEG care, inhalation and respiratory therapy, as well as monitoring)
