With over 8,700 farms practicing organic agriculture, beekeeping, and viticulture, as well as more than 1,400 partners in production and trade, Bioland is the driving force for the agriculture of the future.

In the interest of its members and partners, Bioland maintains a strong public relations and political advocacy.

To strengthen our teams, we are currently seeking a

Agricultural Policy Officer (m/f/d)
permanent, full-time position based in Berlin

Your responsibilities
You support the association in political advocacy at the federal and state level.
You research and prepare expert topics and draft statements, position papers, and briefings for the region of Bioland's East Regional Association.
You assist the regional management in collaborating with state ministries and political working groups.
You support regional public relations on political issues.
You represent Bioland at agricultural policy events in Berlin and the designated region.

Your profile

You are familiar with EU, German, and statelevel agricultural policies and may have previous experience in agricultural funding in the eastern states.
You have experience in political lobbying and have a strong network in this field.
You have the ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly and logically.
You are able to draft political statements.
You have good communication and organizational skills, work independently, and are accustomed to meeting deadlines.
You identify with the goals of organic
