The city of Seelze, with almost 37,000 inhabitants, in close proximity to the state capital Hanover, with good infrastructure and all types of schools on site, is seeking for the Department 33.

3/Maintenance Yard for the work groups of green maintenance personnel (m/f/d) for the position of****Helper
**This is a full-time permanent position.


The maintenance yard, with 45 employees, is responsible for the organization and implementation of order and cleanliness in municipal facilities, public areas, and traffic routes in the city of Seelze.


The tasks include, among others, supporting with:

  • the maintenance of municipal planting, lawn, and path areas on or at properties, parks, roads, playgrounds, sports fields, schools, daycares, and public buildings
- the implementation of planned planting and maintenance work
- assisting with tree care measures on municipal trees
- mechanical landscape maintenance such as extensive mowing, shredding, clearing of light profiles and visibility triangles for traffic safety
- special services such as assisting with snow removal and gritting services and being on call for winter maintenance, clearing storm damage, and participating in city events

The requirement for employment is proven experience in green maintenance.


A valid driver's license class B (formerly class 3) is required, as well as the willingness to use a private car for the position of winter maintenance leader with corresponding compensation.

A local place of residence is advantageous for winter
