What you will be doing:
You will take on the responsibilities of a safety specialist according to legal requirements.

You will act as a service provider for occupational safety and health protection, providing advice to responsible parties and stakeholders.

You will develop occupational safety concepts/measures in coordination with departments and regions, and support their implementation.

You will work closely with the business units of the REWE Group, as well as with HR and other departments, and works councils.

You will communicate with external organizations such as employers' liability insurance associations and authorities as a competent contact person.

Your qualified education or degree and training as a safety specialist (ideally with prior knowledge in fire protection or hazardous goods supervision).

Your consulting skills, social competence, and confident demeanor.
Your structured way of working, high level of independence, and self-organization.
Your experience with moderation and presentation techniques in trainings, and enjoyment in conducting them.
Your proficiency in common computer systems and software.
Your willingness to travel for work in the defined region: Hessen.
