What does a Business Administration Specialist do?

Step by step up the career ladder - that's your plan as an ambitious apprentice.

With a part-time further education as a Business Administration Specialist - also known as "Abiturient Program" - you can turn a small step into a big one, because you are already prepared for responsible tasks after your apprenticeship.

This is done in combination with an apprenticeship as a retail salesperson.

After three years, you will not only have one, but two vocational qualifications, also obtain the trainer's license and become a true all-round expert in the trade: You conduct demanding sales conversations with customers and negotiations with suppliers, ensure proper storage of goods, design marketing measures and create personnel and service schedules in the stores.

How does the apprenticeship work?

While you are in the company and vocational school during the apprenticeship as a retail salesperson, you also attend a so-called "education center" during the further education.

There, you will be intensively prepared for the exam and for working life together with other aspiring Business Administration Specialists.

Your subjects in the first part of the apprenticeship are:
sales and marketing, merchandise management and accounting, business and social studies, as well as business processes in retail.
