SUMMARY
This seasonal position is responsible for interior paint and industrial coatings.

Main task will be to paint, in addition to assist with prep tasks, including patching holes, sanding down rough surfaces, and taping.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Patch walls and perform other prep tasks as necessary.
Assist with mixing paint colors.
Set up and take down protective coverings.
Clean spray nozzles, brushes, and all other equipment at the end of your shift.
Paint walls, ceilings, baseboards, doors, frames, and moldings using standard painting equipment.

Skills/Abilities:

Skilled with rollers, brushes, and spraypainting equipment
Ability to mix and match paint colors.
Required to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Attention to detail.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Professional painting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1year previous painting experience in commercial environment.

PHYSICAL Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk on their feet for 95% of the shift.
Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 100 pounds.
Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors). This position is primarily for indoor painting in climatecontrolled areas.
Must be able to work around chemicals, dust, fumes and/or odor hazards.
Must be able to pass background check.
