Are you passionate about writing journalistic texts? Is sports a topic that you enjoy? Do you want to gain experience and deepen your knowledge? Then we are looking for you as a dedicated support for a temporary internship in the press center of an international sports event

Start: Beginning/mid-August 2024, by arrangement

Location: 20149 Hamburg

Duration: by arrangement

Areas of responsibility

  • You will actively support a professional PR team in their daily work during an international sports event.
  • You will assist our colleagues in responding to press and agency inquiries, writing and editing press releases and other press texts, and preparing press appointments and interviews.
  • You will also conduct research and perform administrative tasks, as well as assist with media monitoring.
  • You will work directly from the press center at the event venue and be one of the first points of contact for media-related inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a confident demeanor.
  • Previous editorial experience or knowledge in press and public relations.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of English.
  • Advantageous: affinity for sports, especially
