We are looking for a full-time engineer to lead our cemetery department and cemetery administration at Harlingen, starting as soon as possible.

You will have a meaningful role in shaping the city of Erlangen and a strong internal network for professional, methodological, and social exchange at the management level.

Your responsibilities will include managing a team of approximately 20 employees, strategic planning, and execution of the redesign and expansion of our ten municipal cemeteries.

This includes site evaluation, drafting plans, and awarding contracts. You will also be responsible for budgeting, finances, and controlling for the department. In addition, you will provide advice on special cases related to grave rights (e.g. anatomy, star children and children's graves) and represent the department head for cemetery matters. Your profile should include a degree in landscape or garden design, landscape architecture, or a comparable field. You should have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop employees. Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn specialized programs is required. A valid driver's license (Class B)
