My Responsibilities

  • You will lead interdisciplinary project teams and have overall responsibility for development projects
  • You will manage, coach, and develop a highperforming R&D team both technically and disciplinarily
  • You will translate market requirements from 3 market segments and business development into technically feasible development projects in close collaboration with product management, technical service, sales, and production
  • You will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the R&D department
  • You will monitor and control project progress and project controlling
  • You will be responsible for multiproject management according to the dimensions of cost, time, and quality in the Stage Gate process and/or Scrum methodology

My Qualifications

  • You have a degree in engineering, polymer chemistry, or a comparable qualification
  • You have extensive practical experience in product development for recipe and processheavy polymer products
  • You have a talent for promoting and developing employees
  • You have technical competencies, expertise in modern development methods, and a strong processoriented and metricsdriven mindset
  • You have an understanding of the impact of sustainability/circular economy on product development
  • You are a successful leader with knowledge of modern development and project management methods (e.g. SixSigma, DoE)
  • Advantageous: Technical expertise in packaging development, extrusion, lamination, printing, processing of sustainable or recycled plastic materials
