The city of Danielsville, GA is currently seeking a
Department Head for Childcare in the Department of Child Daycare (M/F/D) to start as soon as possible.


With the following main tasks:



  • Collaboration within the department management team
  • Administrative and professional supervision of assigned daycares
  • Participation in conceptual development
  • Committee work, finances, and administration


The Department of Child Daycare is part of the Social and Youth Services Office and is responsible for all matters related to childcare facilities and child day care.

The current 12 municipal daycares implement the orientation plan using the Infans concept and open work approach.

The task of further developing childcare and ensuring quality standards is carried out through intensive conceptual work and support for the assigned daycares and children's houses.

The overall management of these 12 daycares is carried out by the colleagues in the department head position. Depending on the assignment, they are responsible for 3-4 daycares and support the department management in their tasks.
