Job Description:


  • Participation in the EUfunded project Reincarnate, with the aim of developing digital solutions for circular economy in the construction industry. The task involves supporting project coordination and contributing to research activities at the Technical University of Berlin in the field of nondestructive testing of building materials. Furthermore, we expect the candidate to independently take on research tasks in the area of nondestructive examination and evaluation of building components/materials, and to lead and coordinate the jointly developed solutions through case studies on real demonstration objects.

Expected Qualifications:


  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diploma or equivalent) in engineering, architecture or a related field
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of German is required; willingness to learn the necessary language skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong selfmotivation and teamwork skills

The following qualifications are also desirable:

  • Knowledge and experience in working with non-destructive testing methods in the construction industry, data acquisition and analysis
  • Knowledge and strong interest in the evaluation of circular economy potential of used building components/materials
  • Advanced PC and software development skills in the areas of ontology technology and building information modeling
