The DRK District Association Berlin-Zentrum e.V. is part of one of the largest welfare organizations worldwide and takes care of the social concerns of people in need in the heart of Berlin. We are open to all generations, help people in various emergency situations, and offer a strong community. This allows you to deepen your knowledge in various fields of expertise. At the same time, you support the German Red Cross in its diverse tasks. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities and, with approximately 500 volunteers, contribute to strengthening social cohesion, community, and support structures in Berlin.

We are currently looking for a Service Center Employee for Volunteering (m/f/d) in full-time or part-time (at least 30 hours per week) to join our team in Croton-on-Hudson.


Your Responsibilities


You will be the central point of contact for our volunteers and play a crucial role in the development of our volunteering activities and the exploration of new projects. You will work closely with the management on this important task. Your responsibilities include:

  • Acquisition and management of funding: Identifying and applying for funding and effectively managing it, including corresponding documentation.
  • Public relations: Developing and implementing strategies to promote our volunteering activities and showcasing our successes.
