    ResponsibilitiesReport workers compensation claims to the companys workers compensation insurance.
    Maintain accurate and confidential workers compensation claim files.
    Build and maintain relationships with adjusters, account managers, brokers and insurance carriers.
    Recommend solutions to complex claims that may involve coverage and compensability disputes.
    Manage workers' compensation claim investigations, settlements and litigation.
    Serve as primary liaison for unemployment insurance carrier to manage unemployment claim costs.

    Serve as focal point of contact for employees with workers' compensation claims and assists with questions concerning workers' compensation claim submittal, case management, benefits, medical treatment, etc.

    Obtain and provide, where appropriate, authority for claim settlement or closure and communicates to legal representation and/or third party claims administrator (TPA).Build on workers compensation programs such as return to work, preferred medical provider organizations, etc.

    QualificationsBachelors degree or paralegal certification strongly preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation law and/or managementSome experience with managing unemployment claimsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision, make decisions and manage time with multiple high-priority tasksProblem Solving

    Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
    $82,324.46 to $109,765.95 Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards. Sunrun provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). A candidates salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
