In a timely manner, we are looking for an Assistant Doctor (m/f/d) for General and Visceral Surgery for a client in Hessen.

The hospital is a modern primary and regular care provider, which is also an academic teaching hospital. The modern acute care hospital has several specialized clinics and approximately 250 planned beds, and also has a Medical Care Center attached. The Department of General and Visceral Surgery primarily treats patients using minimally invasive techniques.

The charming and cozy city is located on the border of North Rhine-Westphalia. Idyllic landscapes and the proximity to Kassel and Marburg offer something for every taste.

Your tasks - challenging and diverse

  • Outpatient and inpatient care for patients
  • Assisting in surgeries and performing independent surgeries
  • Documentation & diagnostics
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Participation in on-call duty

Your profile - professional and personal

  • German medical license
  • Interest and commitment to further education
  • Previous experience in surgery is desirable
  • Empathy in dealing with patients and their families
  • Teamwork, communication skills, and sense of responsibility
